Apache Junction, Az is located at the foot of the Superstiton Mountains, 30 miles east of Phoenix, in the Valley of the Sun.

The fabled Jacob Walz, the Dutchman of the Lost Dutchman Mine roamed the mountain. We have just outsdie of town, where many western movies were filmed. Lots of history. Springtime is the most beautiful. But then, you can wear shorts on Christmas.
